Composite Decking Supplier for Latvia — Factory Direct WPC
BOHAI manufactures WPC decking at its own extrusion plant in Sihui, Zhaoqing, Guangdong. For Latvian importers, builders’ merchants, contractors and project suppliers comparing a composite decking supplier, the profile, colour, accessory pack, document scope and packing plan are answered by the factory rather than passed through a trading chain.
Latvia already has an active market for WPC terases dēļi, WPC terases dēlis, kompozītmateriāla terases dēļi and kompozīta terases dēļi. A new factory source must therefore solve the local commercial details: live Riga routing, electronic customs clearance, import VAT, physical colour samples, a short installation season and one complete accessory system.
Our minimum order is 70 m². It can test one Riga roof terrace, Jurmala hospitality deck, private garden or focused dealer range before a wider stock commitment. The Port of Riga is the first route to price; Liepaja and Ventspils are alternatives only when a live service and final inland leg make them commercially stronger.

Riga Is the First Quote—The Latvian Delivery Point Finishes It
A port name is only the maritime leg. The useful comparison runs through terminal, customs, inland delivery, unloading and empty-container return to the actual warehouse or project.
Start with the Port of Riga
The Freeport of Riga describes its location at the mouth of the Daugava and positions the port as a Baltic logistics and distribution centre. Its cargo network includes container handling, customs warehousing and forwarding services, so Riga is the first route to quote for most Latvian stock orders. Freeport of Riga cargo overview.
Price Liepaja or Ventspils only against a live service
Liepaja handles general cargo and connects the Baltic region with global markets; Ventspils handles general, RoRo and container cargo and operates as an ice-free deep-water port. Either can be relevant to a specific forwarder or western-Latvia destination, but neither should replace a live Riga quotation by assumption. Port of Liepaja · Port of Ventspils services.
Board length changes the inland plan
A 5.8 m board is not a neutral choice for urban delivery, warehouse racking or a restricted renovation site. Send the delivery postcode, unloading method and maximum accepted pack length before production planning.
The Decking Range
Capped co-extrusion and classic uncapped, hollow and solid. Six sections that cover most distributor and project briefs.

Latvia Already Has WPC Decking Supply
The category does not need an introduction. A factory-direct offer has to prove where it adds range depth, stock flexibility, technical clarity or private-label value.
Use the product language buyers already use
Latvian retailers and installers use WPC terases dēļi, WPC terases dēlis, kompozītmateriāla terases dēļi and kompozīta terases dēļi. These phrases identify the category; trade buyers still compare profile construction, cap coverage, board length, surface, colour, accessories, warranty, documents and stock availability.
Compete as a second source, not as an imaginary first supplier
Latvia already has local stockists, installers and WPC ranges. BOHAI is relevant when a distributor needs another factory source, a matched system, private-label packing, a different profile mix or a clearly documented supply basis.
Teak is the visual lead, not a one-colour range
This page uses Teak to warm the Riga riverside scene. Approve the physical Teak sample outdoors beside the project façade, then compare Antique, Light-grey, Walnut and the relevant classic or 3D-embossed palette before choosing stock.
Specify the Board as a System, Not a Brown Surface
A stock code should identify construction, section, face, colour and compatible hardware. “Teak WPC” alone is not enough to reorder the same product.
Core recipe and cap have different jobs

The company formula is approximately 60% wood powder, 30% HDPE and 10% additives. On co-extruded ranges, a separate polymer shield forms the wearing surface. The core supplies the composite body; the cap changes surface cleaning, stain and colour behaviour.
Record the section before the colour

The reorder line should name the exact profile, not only the face width. Chamber geometry, wall thickness, metre weight, groove and cap coverage distinguish sections that look similar from above. The profile schedule is the correct starting point.
Treat gaps and drainage as measurable parts
Side spacing, wall clearance, butt-joint allowance and outlet access should appear on the installation drawing. They provide movement space and a route for water; they are not finishing tolerances to decide after the frame is built.
Colours — Three Ranges
Teak leads this page visually, while the full capped, classic and 3D-embossed palettes remain available.
The full colour card

Capped co-extrusion: Teak, Antique, Redwood, IPE, Light-grey, Walnut.
Classic uncapped: Teak, Redwood, Walnut, Coffee, Chocolate, Ebony.
3D embossing: Teak, Red Wood, Walnut, Chocolate, Light Grey, Dark Grey.
Judge the sample where the project will be built
Teak adds a warmer material note beside charcoal aluminium, pale concrete and Riga brick. It is one colour direction, not a claim that Teak suits every project. Put the physical sample outdoors and compare it wet, dry, shaded and in low-angle light before stock approval.
Order the whole visible area in one batch
Pigment is mixed into the extrusion run, so separate batches of the same named colour are not identical. Order one visible area together and keep spare boards from that batch. This matters on hotels and spa projects installed in stages.
Where Composite Decking Goes in Latvia
The hero and supporting images are application illustrations, not claims of completed BOHAI projects in Latvia. Each setting creates a different procurement brief.

Installation Details That Belong on a Latvian Quote
The material schedule is incomplete until the board, joist, clip, trim and fixing quantities describe one buildable system.
Show the gaps and every butt joint

Catalogue starting points are 5–7 mm between board sides, about 5 mm from a capped board to a wall and 3–5 mm where board ends meet. Each end at a butt joint needs its own joist. The final support layout remains profile- and project-specific.
Order the small parts with the visible boards

Available system parts include starter clips, hidden clips, expansion screws, 50 × 50 × 3000 mm corner trim, 40 × 30 × 3000 mm WPC joist and 40 × 25 × 2900 mm aluminium joist. The local designer still selects fastener and metal grades for the exposure.
Price One Latvian Stock or Project Brief
A usable quotation begins with a profile and an actual receiving point, not a generic square-metre request.
Send the variables that change the factory and freight price
Name the board section, surface, colour, length, quantity, accessory scope, delivery postcode and required stock date. We return a per-unit factory price, applicable documents and a route basis.
Factory Control Behind a Repeatable Latvian Range
Book against stated production capacity
Approximate production capacity is 2,000 tonnes per month. Give us the intended arrival date and volume so the offer can reference a production window instead of a vague lead-time promise.
Tooling is controlled in-house
BOHAI owns and cuts the dies used on its extrusion lines. That gives the factory direct responsibility for the section, dimensional checks and repeat production of the named profile.
Keep the shipment’s batch record
Routine factory checks are recorded before dispatch and a batch report accompanies the shipment. Store it with the invoice, packing list and retained sample so later questions trace back to the supplied run.
Certification: What We Hold, and the Exact Scope
Ask for the document itself and read the profile named on it.
| Item | Status | Scope |
|---|---|---|
| CE marking / CPR | Held, scoped | Certificate M.2024.206.C97619, UDEM, valid to 11 March 2029; issued against EN 15534-1:2014+A1:2017 and EN 14041:2018 for the named decking profiles. Ask before assuming it covers another profile. |
| Declaration of Performance | Available by profile | The reaction-to-fire declaration belongs on the DoP for the profile being quoted. It is not created by copying a class from another board. |
| Slip resistance | R10, scoped | Intertek report 230625005SHF-001 under AS 4586-2013 Appendix D, measured on profile ZSGJ138H23A. It is a shod wet ramp result, not a barefoot pool classification. |
| ASTM E84 | Held, scoped | Class A result on a named 138 × 23 mm board. This is a US test method and does not replace the European classification required for a Latvian project. |
| ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 | Held | Quality and environmental management certificates valid to April 2027. |
| Tests not held | State the gap | Where a tender asks for a method or profile outside the existing evidence, testing can be discussed before quotation. We do not relabel another method as an equivalent. |
What We Do for a Latvian Distributor
Define the sales channel before the container mix
A Riga retail warehouse, installer-led business, Jurmala hospitality supplier and project distributor need different profile depth, colour breadth, board lengths, accessories and sample sets. We build the first offer around that channel.
Send Teak and comparison samples
Samples are free; the buyer pays the courier and we credit it against the first order. Compare Teak beside one cooler and one darker colour outdoors, and ask for a sawn section so cap coverage, chamber geometry and clip grooves are visible.
Quote per unit within 24 hours
Send the profile, colour, length, quantity, Latvian delivery point, exposure, target date and quotation basis. We return a fixed per-unit supply price rather than a broad retail range.
Keep documents attached to the exact profile
Certificates and test reports name their scope. We provide the current file for the board being quoted and state a gap instead of moving a result from one profile to another.
Latvia: Port, Customs, VAT and Commercial Terms
Latvia is an EU and euro-area market. Goods arriving from China still require classification, an electronic declaration and an import-VAT plan controlled by the importer or its representative.
| Item | Detail |
|---|---|
| Port of loading | Nansha or Yantian, Guangdong |
| Primary route | Port of Riga, priced through to the actual warehouse or project receiving point |
| Alternatives | Liepaja or Ventspils only when the forwarder has a live service and the total landed route is stronger |
| Customs filing | Latvian State Revenue Service states that customs formalities are completed electronically; the importer or representative files through the applicable system |
| Import VAT | Latvia’s standard VAT rate is 21%; the importer or broker confirms classification, customs value, any duty and whether it qualifies for an authorised deferred-payment regime |
| Quotation currency | EUR, USD or another agreed supply currency, with validity and trade basis written on the offer |
| Minimum order | 70 m² |
| Samples | Free; courier paid by buyer and credited against the first order |
| Standard production | 20 days for standard catalogue items |
| Quotation turnaround | Within 24 hours after the full specification |
Design the Latvian Deck Around Water Removal and Access
A composite board is the visible layer. Drainage, ventilation, support, movement space and metal selection decide how the complete terrace behaves through wet autumns, freezing periods and spring thaw.
Give runoff a continuous route
Keep the deck fall, side gaps and outlets clear through every layer. Fascia, sealant, planters and low thresholds must not turn the cavity into a tray. Provide removable access near roof drains and leaf traps.
Do not let thaw water refreeze inside the build-up
Standing water around clips, joists, pedestals or wall junctions can freeze repeatedly. The local designer sets drainage, subframe, movement and structural details for the actual site; the board cannot compensate for a trapped cavity.
Urban roof terraces need load and threshold information
Before quoting, send the permitted build-up, finished-floor threshold, drainage level, intended substructure and any engineer-imposed load limit. Product weight is one input, not a structural approval.
Coastal metal grades belong to the project specification
WPC does not rust, but clips, screws, brackets and subframes are metal. The Latvian responsible professional should select the grade for the exposure and apply it to hidden as well as visible components.
Build Latvian Stock Around the Installer’s Real Cut Plan
Start from common project dimensions
Choose board lengths from terrace dimensions, joist direction, installer vehicles, warehouse racks and the number of butt joints. BOHAI can discuss 2.9 m, 3.6 m, 4.0 m and 5.8 m for relevant profiles, subject to current tooling and production planning.
A complete accessory pallet beats a cheap board-only price
Clips, start clips, joists, trims and suitable fasteners must match the quoted board and support. Count the whole system before comparing suppliers so a missing accessory does not stop the installation season.
Keep visible areas and spares in one batch
Pigment is compounded into the extrusion. Order the main Teak area and maintenance spares together rather than expecting a later production run to be visually identical.
Three Latvia-Specific Procurement Mistakes
Comparing port names instead of delivered routes
Riga, Liepaja and Ventspils are not interchangeable labels. Compare a live sailing, terminal cost, customs arrangement, inland delivery, unloading and empty return to the same receiving point.
Copying a local retail price into an import budget
A Latvian retail square-metre price may include VAT, local stockholding, accessories, installation support and margin. Compare the same supply boundary, and keep the importer’s duty, VAT, brokerage, inland haulage and finance outside the factory unit price.
Approving Teak from a screen
Warm brown changes beside brick, render and charcoal metal, and between wet and dry surfaces. Approve a physical sample outdoors, write the exact profile and colour into the quotation, and hold same-batch spares.
Electronic Customs and Latvia’s 21% Standard VAT Rate
The Latvian importer or appointed representative owns the customs entry. BOHAI supplies the commercial documents and product information needed for that process.
Customs formalities are electronic
Latvia’s State Revenue Service states that customs formalities are arranged electronically and that classification determines tariff and other import measures. The importer or broker should confirm the commodity code before the purchase order is final. Official customs procedures and tariffs guidance.
The standard VAT rate is 21%
The State Revenue Service lists Latvia’s standard VAT rate as 21% and identifies imported goods as subject to VAT. It also describes a permit-based special regime that can defer payment of import VAT to the relevant return. Eligibility is the importer’s tax matter, not a factory promise. Official VAT guidance.
Issue a new quotation when a commercial input changes
A change to profile, Teak colour, quantity, length, port basis, destination or Incoterm deserves a revised offer rather than an edited spreadsheet. That keeps the landed comparison auditable.
Warranty Evidence Starts with the Order Record
Read the stepped schedule, not only the headline term
The capped co-extrusion schedule runs for 15 years and the classic uncapped schedule for 10 years, with covered value reducing by time band. Request the written schedule before resale claims are drafted.
Preserve destination-port and batch documents
The schedule runs from the date the shipment is signed for at the destination port. Keep the arrival record, commercial invoice, batch report and the quotation that names the exact profile and colour together.
Make a future investigation reproducible
Photographs, the installation layout, drainage and support details, maintenance history and a retained spare board help distinguish a product question from an assembly or external-damage issue.

Latvian Product Terms Belong to a Trade Specification
This page supports Latvia-specific supplier discovery without trying to replace BOHAI’s installation, cost and buyer-guide resources.
Manufacturer and supplier intent
Trade buyers comparing composite decking manufacturers, a composite decking supplier, composite deck suppliers or a composite deck material manufacturer need production proof, named documents, MOQ, samples, accessories and a delivered route. This is the Latvia-specific supplier page.
Product and best-material intent
Latvian buyers may search WPC terases dēļi, WPC terases dēlis, kompozītmateriāla terases dēļi or kompozīta terases dēļi. BOHAI supplies capped and classic composite decking, hollow and solid composite deck boards, alternative composite decking boards and coordinated accessories. The right composite decking material depends on exposure, profile, support, surface and warranty; those inputs make a “best composite decking” comparison useful.
Installation and cost intent
A credible composite decking installation plan includes board direction, profile-specific support spacing, double joists at butt joints, movement gaps, drainage, clips, fascia and waste. The same inputs belong in a composite deck cost calculator and any comparison of composite decking cost.

Latvia: Common Questions
Buying, route and import
Are you a composite decking manufacturer or a trading company?
BOHAI is the manufacturer. We compound and extrude WPC decking at our plant in Sihui, Zhaoqing, Guangdong, cut dies in-house and issue a batch test report with every shipment.
What is the minimum order for Latvia?
70 m². It can cover one real project or a focused dealer-range test before broader stock.
Is Riga the right port for every Latvian order?
Riga is the first route to price for most container stock. The live sailing, terminal, customs, inland delivery, unloading and return terms decide. Liepaja or Ventspils may fit a specific service or western-Latvia destination.
What VAT rate applies to imported decking?
Latvia’s standard VAT rate is 21%. The importer or broker confirms the product classification, customs value, any duty, applicable VAT treatment and eligibility for a permit-based deferred-payment regime.
Which currency do you quote in?
Tell us whether the quotation should be in EUR, USD or another agreed currency and state the required validity. The importer owns local resale pricing and margin.
Product, colour and installation
Can we order Teak decking for Latvia?
Yes, Teak is in the capped co-extrusion palette. Approve a physical sample outdoors and compare it with the selected brick, render, aluminium and furniture. The quotation should name both the profile and Teak colour.
Which boards suit a Latvian roof or riverside terrace?
Start with the complete assembly. Capped construction can improve surface colour and stain resistance, while the local responsible professional specifies drainage, support, anchorage, edges and the hardware grade for the actual exposure.
Does BOHAI’s R10 result prove barefoot grip?
No. R10 was measured on ZSGJ138H23A using AS 4586-2013 Appendix D, an oil-wet ramp test with footwear. Barefoot-wet areas use a different method; the project team must identify the required evidence.
What installation gaps should be used?
Our guide shows 5–7 mm between board sides, about 5 mm from a capped board to a wall and 3–5 mm at butt joints. Every butt joint sits on double joists so each board end has its own support.
Is the Latvia hero a completed BOHAI project?
No. It is an AI-generated application illustration of a Teak-colour Riga riverside terrace and is not presented as a local installation reference.
