Composite Decking Supplier for Estonia — Factory Direct WPC

BOHAI manufactures WPC decking at its own extrusion plant in Sihui, Zhaoqing, Guangdong. For Estonian importers, builders’ merchants, contractors and project suppliers comparing a composite decking supplier, the profile, colour, accessory pack, document scope and packing plan are answered by the factory rather than passed through a trading chain.

Estonia already has an active market for komposiit terrassilaud, komposiit terrassilauad, WPC terrassilaud and puitplast terrassilaud. A new factory source must therefore solve the commercial and technical details that matter locally: Muuga routing, EU import VAT, short installation seasons, coastal exposure, freeze-thaw drainage, physical samples and batch-matched stock.

Our minimum order is 70 m². It can test one coastal home, sauna terrace, apartment courtyard or focused dealer range before a wider commitment. Muuga is the first container gateway to compare; Saaremaa and other island deliveries need their own final-leg plan.

Muuga Handles the Container—The Estonian Delivery Point Decides the Cost

The biggest cargo port is the logical first quotation, but the comparison only finishes at the warehouse, project or island transfer point.

Start with Estonia’s biggest cargo harbour

Port of Tallinn identifies Muuga as Estonia’s biggest cargo harbour and its main cargo facility, about 17 km east of Tallinn. It handles containers, RoRo and general cargo, making it the first route to price for an Estonian decking order. Muuga Harbour official overview.

Compare Paldiski only against a real service

Paldiski South Harbour focuses heavily on RoRo, project and general cargo and has regular links with western European and Scandinavian ports. It can be relevant to a specific forwarder or consolidation plan, but it should not replace a live Muuga container quote by assumption. Port of Tallinn cargo overview.

Island delivery is a separate final leg

A Saaremaa or other island project adds ferry timing, vehicle limits, unloading and temporary storage to the landed plan. Send the exact receiving address and board length before the shipment basis is fixed.

The Decking Range

Capped co-extrusion and classic uncapped, hollow and solid. Six sections that cover most distributor and project briefs.

Estonia Already Understands Composite Decking

The category does not need an introduction. A trade offer must prove why its profiles, documents and service belong beside established Estonian ranges.

Use the product terms buyers already use

Estonian buyers commonly search for komposiit terrassilaud, komposiit terrassilauad, WPC terrassilaud and puitplast terrassilaud. Those phrases identify the category; the distributor still differentiates profile construction, cap coverage, colour, accessory system, warranty, documents and stock availability.

Teak is a range choice, not the whole range

This page uses Teak to introduce visual variation across the country-page collection. The physical sample should still be compared beside Antique, Light-grey, Walnut and the relevant classic or 3D-embossed palette before stock is chosen.

Low maintenance is not maintenance-free

Composite decking does not need annual oiling or staining, but pollen, leaves, organic dirt, coastal deposits and winter grit still need cleaning. Drainage gaps and outlets must remain open.

What the Board Is Made Of, and What the Surface Does

The specification starts with the construction, not the colour name.

60% wood powder, 30% HDPE, 10% additives

WPC board composition and capped co-extrusion layer

On the capped range a co-extruded polymer shield wraps the WPC core. The shield is the wearing layer and carries the fade, stain and scratch resistance. Classic boards are uncapped, which lowers cost but changes the cleaning and weathering expectations.

Sections and textures are separate decisions

Capped WPC decking profile cross sections with dimensions

A complete specification names the range, profile, surface texture and colour. The full profile schedule is on the models page. Do not carry a span or metre weight from one section to another simply because the face width looks similar.

The gaps are working parts of the deck

Side and end gaps allow thermal movement and carry water off the face. They are not cosmetic tolerances. On exposed roof terraces or cold inland projects, blocked gaps turn rain and trapped water into standing water; on a long summer terrace, missing end gaps can turn expansion into buckling.

Colours — Three Ranges

Teak is the lead visual for this page, while the full capped, classic and 3D-embossed palettes remain available.

The full colour card

BOHAI WPC decking colour card for capped, classic and 3D embossed ranges

Capped co-extrusion: Teak, Antique, Redwood, IPE, Light-grey, Walnut.
Classic uncapped: Teak, Redwood, Walnut, Coffee, Chocolate, Ebony.
3D embossing: Teak, Red Wood, Walnut, Chocolate, Light Grey, Dark Grey.

Judge the sample where the project will be built

The Teak hero shows how a warm capped board can sit beside charcoal timber and pale Baltic limestone. It is one colour direction, not a claim that Teak is right for every project. Put the physical sample outdoors at the Estonian site and compare it in wet, dry, shaded and low winter light; then compare Antique, Light-grey, Walnut and the other available colours beside it.

Order the whole visible area in one batch

Pigment is mixed into the extrusion run, so separate batches of the same named colour are not identical. Order one visible area together and keep spare boards from that batch. This matters on hotels and spa projects installed in stages.

Where Composite Decking Goes in Estonia

The hero and supporting images are application illustrations, not claims of completed BOHAI projects in Estonia. Each setting creates a different specification brief.

Wet barefoot zones require the correct test method; remote sites also need complete accessories and batch-matched spares delivered in one plan.

Installation and Accessories

Put these details on the drawing before the frame is built.

Gaps and double joists

WPC decking installation guide showing gaps, clips and double joists

5–7 mm between adjacent board sides, about 5 mm at a wall, and 3–5 mm at butt joints are the catalogue starting points. Butt joints sit on double joists so each board end has its own support. Final spacing and support centres must match the exact profile and project conditions.

Accessories, with sizes

WPC decking clips, trims and joists

The system includes starter clips, plastic hidden clips, expansion screws, 50 × 50 × 3000 mm corner trim, 40 × 30 × 3000 mm WPC joist and 40 × 25 × 2900 mm aluminium joist. Fixings and exposed metals still need to suit winter de-icing salt, pool chemicals or other project-specific exposure.

Ask About a Specific Profile

Send the profile, area, Estonian delivery terminal or warehouse, and required stock date.

A real specification before a real price

Send the profile, colour, area, destination and whether this is project supply or dealer stock. We reply with a per-unit price, the applicable documents and a route structure.

Samples are free; courier is credited against the first order.

What Owning the Line Gives You

Capacity you can book against

Approximate production capacity is 2,000 tonnes a month. Send the volume and required arrival date; we answer with a production slot rather than treating lead time as a slogan.

Dies are ours

We own and cut the tooling used on our extrusion lines. That permits market-specific sections and gives us direct control over dimensional checks and repeat production.

A batch report travels with the goods

Routine checks are recorded before dispatch and the report travels with the shipment. Keep it with the commercial documents; it is often the first document requested on a public or hospitality project.

Certification: What We Hold, and the Exact Scope

Ask for the document itself and read the profile named on it.

ItemStatusScope
CE marking / CPRHeld, scopedCertificate M.2024.206.C97619, UDEM, valid to 11 March 2029; issued against EN 15534-1:2014+A1:2017 and EN 14041:2018 for the named decking profiles. Ask before assuming it covers another profile.
Declaration of PerformanceAvailable by profileThe reaction-to-fire declaration belongs on the DoP for the profile being quoted. It is not created by copying a class from another board.
Slip resistanceR10, scopedIntertek report 230625005SHF-001 under AS 4586-2013 Appendix D, measured on profile ZSGJ138H23A. It is a shod wet ramp result, not a barefoot pool classification.

Tests not heldState the gapWhere a tender asks for a method or profile outside the existing evidence, testing can be discussed before quotation. We do not relabel another method as an equivalent.

What We Do for an Estonian Distributor

Define the buyer, exposure and stock colour first

Tallinn dealer stock, coastal homes, island projects and colder inland work need different profile, colour, accessory, stock and documentation decisions. We build the first offer around the customer and exposure rather than an arbitrary container mix.

Send Teak and comparison samples

Samples are free; the buyer pays the courier and we credit it against the first order. Compare Teak with at least one cooler and one darker alternative outdoors, and request a sawn section so cap coverage, chamber geometry and clip grooves are visible.

Receive a per-unit quotation within 24 hours

Send the profile, colour, length, quantity, Estonian delivery point, exposure, target date and quotation basis. We return a fixed per-unit supply price rather than a broad retail range.

Keep every document attached to its profile

Certificates and test reports name their scope. We provide the current file for the exact board being quoted and state a gap instead of moving a result from one profile to another.

Estonia: Port, Import VAT and Commercial Terms

Estonia is an EU and euro-area market. A China-to-Estonia shipment still requires a commodity code, customs declaration and import-VAT plan.

Design the Estonian Deck for Baltic Moisture, Freeze-Thaw and Coast

The board is only the wearing surface. Drainage, ventilation, support and hardware decide how the complete terrace performs through wet autumns, thaws and exposed coastal weather.

Meltwater needs a continuous exit

Keep the deck fall, side gaps and outlets clear through every layer. Fascia, sealant, planters and low thresholds must not turn the cavity into a tray. Provide removable access near drains where leaves, grit or ice can block the route.

Freeze-thaw makes trapped water the problem

Standing water around clips, joists, pedestals or wall junctions can freeze repeatedly. The local designer sets drainage, subframe, movement and structural details for the actual site; the board alone cannot solve the assembly.

Coastal exposure belongs in the metal schedule

WPC does not rot like timber, but unsuitable clips, screws, brackets and subframes can corrode. The Estonian responsible professional should name the metal grade for the exposure and apply it to hidden and visible connectors.

Do not use R10 as a barefoot-sauna claim

BOHAI’s R10 result is AS 4586-2013 Appendix D, an oil-wet ramp method with footwear, measured only on profile ZSGJ138H23A. A sauna, spa or bathing terrace requires its own applicable method and local project decision.

A Short Installation Season Rewards Earlier Stock Planning

Work backwards from the usable site window

Confirm the target arrival date, clearance time, inland delivery and installation window before booking production. An island or remote coastal project may add ferry schedules and temporary storage after the container lands.

Choose board length from the cut plan

Map common terrace dimensions, installer vehicle length, warehouse racks and waste before selecting stock. BOHAI can discuss 2.9 m, 3.6 m, 4.0 m and 5.8 m for relevant profiles, subject to current tooling and production planning.

Keep visible areas and spares in one batch

Pigment is compounded into the extrusion. Order the main Teak area and maintenance spares together rather than expecting a later production run to be visually identical.

Three Estonia-Specific Procurement Mistakes

Treating Muuga’s free zone as a retail tax exemption

The free zone can support qualifying transit, processing and re-export structures. It does not mean decking released for Estonian sale has no import VAT. Let the importer and broker define the actual customs procedure.

Choosing Teak from a screen only

Warm brown changes under cool Baltic light, wet weather and adjacent dark cladding. Approve the physical sample outdoors, state the exact range and colour on the quotation, and keep spares from the same batch.

Using a shod R10 result for a barefoot sauna terrace

The test method matters as much as the rating. BOHAI’s R10 is not a barefoot-wet classification. Ask the local specifier which method and result the application requires, then request the actual report.

EU Import, Euro Pricing and Estonia’s 24% VAT Rate

Goods arriving from China enter the EU customs territory, while the Estonian importer controls classification, declaration and VAT reporting.

Apply the rate that belongs to the imported goods

Estonian Tax and Customs Board states that imported goods are taxed at the same VAT rate as domestic sales—normally 24% or 9%, depending on the goods. The appointed importer or broker confirms the live rate and customs value for the decking shipment. Official taxation-of-imported-goods guidance.

State the supply currency and validity

Tell us whether the quotation should be in EUR, USD or another agreed currency. BOHAI states the unit price and trade basis; the importer controls Estonian resale pricing, VAT treatment and margin.

Issue a new quotation when a commercial input changes

A change to profile, Teak colour, quantity, length, port basis, destination or Incoterm deserves a revised offer rather than an edited spreadsheet. That keeps the landed comparison auditable.

Warranty, and How a Claim Works

Stepped, not flat

Capped co-extrusion carries a 15-year limited schedule and classic uncapped 10 years. The covered value reduces in bands over time; ask for the schedule rather than reading only the headline number.

It starts at the destination port

Cover runs from the date the goods arrive and are signed for at the destination port. Keep the arrival record, invoice and batch documentation together.

The batch documents matter

A claim is assessed against the product and schedule supplied with that batch. Photographs, installation layout, maintenance history and retained sample boards make the investigation faster.

Estonian Product Terms Belong to a Trade Specification

This page supports Estonia-specific supplier discovery without trying to replace BOHAI’s installation, cost and buyer-guide resources.

Manufacturer and supplier intent

Trade buyers comparing composite decking manufacturers, a composite decking supplier, composite deck suppliers or a composite deck material manufacturer need production proof, named documents, MOQ, samples, accessories and a delivered route. This is the Estonia-specific supplier page.

Product and best-material intent

Estonian buyers may search komposiit terrassilaud, komposiit terrassilauad, WPC terrassilaud or puitplast terrassilaud. BOHAI supplies capped and classic composite decking, hollow and solid composite deck boards, alternative composite decking boards and coordinated accessories. The right composite decking material depends on exposure, profile, support, surface and warranty; that is what makes a “best composite decking” comparison useful.

Installation and cost intent

A credible composite decking installation plan includes board direction, profile-specific support spacing, double joists at butt joints, movement gaps, drainage, clips, fascia and waste. The same inputs belong in a composite deck cost calculator and any comparison of composite decking cost.

Estonia: Common Questions

Buying, route and import

Are you a composite decking manufacturer or a trading company?

BOHAI is the manufacturer. We compound and extrude WPC decking at our plant in Sihui, Zhaoqing, Guangdong, cut dies in-house and issue a batch test report with every shipment.

What is the minimum order for Estonia?

70 m². It can cover one real project or a focused dealer-range test before broader stock.

Is Muuga the right port for every order?

Muuga is Estonia’s main cargo harbour and the first container route to price. The live service, terminal, inland delivery, unloading and return terms decide. Paldiski may be relevant to a specific RoRo or consolidation plan.

What import VAT rate applies?

Estonian Tax and Customs Board states that imported goods use the same rate as domestic sales, normally 24% or 9% depending on the goods. The importer or broker confirms the commodity code, customs value, applicable rate and declaration method.

Which currency do you quote in?

Tell us whether the quotation should be in EUR, USD or another agreed currency and state the required validity. The importer owns local resale pricing and margin.

Product, colour and climate

Can we order Teak decking for Estonia?

Yes, Teak is in the capped co-extrusion palette. Approve a physical sample outdoors and compare it with the selected cladding, limestone and furniture. The quotation should name both the profile and Teak colour.

Which boards suit a Baltic-coast terrace?

Start with the complete assembly. Capped construction can improve surface colour and stain resistance, while the local responsible professional specifies drainage, support, anchorage, edges and the hardware grade for the actual exposure.

Does BOHAI’s R10 result prove barefoot grip beside a sauna?

No. R10 was measured on ZSGJ138H23A using AS 4586-2013 Appendix D, an oil-wet ramp test with footwear. Barefoot-wet areas use a different method; the Estonian project team must identify the required evidence.

What installation gaps should be used?

Our guide shows 5–7 mm between board sides, about 5 mm from a capped board to a wall and 3–5 mm at butt joints. Every butt joint sits on double joists so each board end has its own support.

Is the Estonia hero a completed BOHAI project?

No. It is an AI-generated application illustration of a Teak-colour Baltic-coast terrace and is not presented as a local installation reference.
