About composite swing gates
Why choose a composite driveway gate?
A composite swing gate combines wood-grain WPC infill with a powder-coated aluminium frame. Compared with a painted or stained timber specification, the WPC infill can reduce routine finishing work, while cleaning, coating care, hardware inspection and drainage still depend on the site exposure and installed details.
Electric and automatic options
Automation preparation can include reinforced frame areas and hardware provisions for above-ground or underground operators. Final motor sizing, hinge geometry, safety devices, access controls and commissioning should be confirmed by the gate supplier and a qualified installer for the specific opening.
Sizing
Double swing gates are commonly considered for openings around 3.0–4.0 m at 1600–1800 mm high. Final dimensions, leaf split, hinge posts, wind loading, clearance and any bi-fold or matching pedestrian-gate requirement are reviewed before order.
