Why choose a sliding gate?
A composite sliding gate slides sideways along the boundary instead of swinging open, so it needs no swing arc and works perfectly on short driveways, slopes or where a swing gate would foul a parked car. You get the look of a timber driveway gate with WPC that never rots, warps or fades.
Tracked vs cantilever
Tracked sliding gates run on a ground rail — economical and ideal on flat, clean ground. Cantilever sliding gates are counterbalanced and need no track across the driveway, so they suit slopes, gravel, flooding or snow. We supply both, sized to your opening.
Automatic and electric
Every Bohaiwoods sliding gate is built for automation, with a rack ready for a rack-and-pinion slide motor. Add keypads, intercoms, loop detectors, photocells and remotes for a complete automatic or electric sliding gate, or run it manually and motorise later.
Sizing & configurations
Single-slide gates need clear fence line beside the opening roughly equal to the opening width. Short on side room? Bi-parting (two panels) halves the run-off each side, and telescopic (overlapping panels) reduces it further. All made to measure, factory direct, with SGS, ASTM D7032 and CE certification. Trade and OEM welcome.
