Co-extrusion decking

Composite Decking Boards — Classic and Capped, Factory Direct from China

BOHAI manufactures WPC composite decking in two grades. Classic boards are uncapped: the wood-polymer composite is exposed on all four faces, which keeps the cost per square metre down. Capped co-extrusion boards carry a polymer shell bonded to the core during extrusion, which holds colour and resists staining far longer under sun and heavy use.

Fourteen profiles across both grades, in widths from 138 mm to 150 mm and thicknesses from 20 mm to 25 mm, plus deck tiles and a full accessory system. Supplied factory-direct from our Guangdong facility to distributors, contractors and project buyers. We sell business-to-business only.

The Decking Range

Four places to start. Classic and capped are the two board grades; deck tiles and the accessory system sit alongside them.

Which Grade Do You Need?

The cap layer buys surface longevity, not structural strength. This is the short version — the full comparison sits on the premium page.

Composite Decking: Common Questions

Choosing a grade

What is composite decking?

Composite decking is a board extruded from wood fibre and polymer, used as an outdoor deck surface in place of sawn timber. It does not rot or splinter, needs no annual oiling or staining, and holds its dimensions through freeze-thaw cycles. It is not maintenance-free in the sense of never needing cleaning, but it removes the yearly treatment cycle that timber requires.

What is the difference between classic and capped composite decking?

Classic boards are uncapped — the composite is exposed on all four faces. Capped boards carry a polymer shell bonded to the core during extrusion. Both resist rot and need no treatment; the cap adds colour retention, stain resistance and scratch resistance. Classic costs less per square metre, capped holds its appearance longer under sun and heavy use.

What sizes do BOHAI composite decking boards come in?

Classic profiles run 140 × 25 mm, 140 × 21.5 mm, 140 × 23 mm, 145 × 21.5 mm and 150 × 23 mm, in hollow and solid cores. Capped co-extrusion profiles run 23 × 148 mm in two core geometries, 23 × 138 mm, and a solid 20 × 140 mm. Each collection page lists the profiles in that grade with the product pages behind them.

Supply

Do you supply composite decking to distributors and contractors?

Yes — we sell business-to-business only. BOHAI is the export brand of Guangdong Bangying New Material Co., Ltd, and we ship direct from our factory in Guangdong, FOB Nansha or Yantian. We do not sell to homeowners. Buyers running a company check are welcome to ask for our ISO certificates, which are issued to that legal entity.

What warranty comes with BOHAI composite decking?

It depends on the grade, and the two are not the same. Capped co-extrusion boards carry a 15-year limited warranty; classic uncapped boards carry a 10-year limited warranty. Both cover peeling, cracking and overall uneven fading, both run from the date the goods are received at the destination port, and both are stepped by year rather than flat — full value in years one to three, then reducing in bands to 10% in the final years of cover. We publish the full table rather than quoting a flat figure, because the stepping is what matters when you sign.
